The Worst Day of My Life

By: Jacroe July 11, 2008

Wednesday was arguably the worst. I had to go to town because I promised someone that I would make print out pictures that she had made using my sister's digital camera. So we went to town saying that we would go to Sonic after we get through in Wal-Mart, where I was going to make the copies. We entered the store and Jessie went off to find the objects that Mom wanted us to buy also (only a hadful of things really) as I stood in line at the Kodak Photo Maker thingy, which is where I stood for over 30 minutes. Why? Because someone else couldn't make up her mind how she wanted a photo rotated and printed. To top if off, she didn't even make a copy! She just left. So in that incident 30 minutes lost.

Later, Jessie had finally gathered up all the items which included a roll of hamburger meat. While I was waiting, I told her to go put it back so that it wil stay cold because it was already getting pretty warm which she did. After I go the photos, I told Jessie to go get the meat again. She just sat there, taking her sweet time to get up and off; she thought it was a time to joke around. As she slowly walked off, I waited in the check-out line where she scanned the photos and the other items: oatmeal and cocoa (for making cookies), and cookies (why Jessie bought those I have no idea) and the meat (after she finally came back). I was so angry about that woman and Jessie being so slow that I just grabbed the stuff and left. We got back in the Explorer and left to go to Sonic.

After getting in the Sonic "parking lot", I pulled up into one spot, only to realize that that one spot doesn't work. So furious was I from my horrible day, that I just backed out without even noticing how I should, in fact, back out. So I tore the bug guard off my explorer, a $40/50 fix.

After that incident (and several phone calls from the folks), I calmed down enough to order and eat and drive home safely. Though on a final note, the drive-through spot that I thought doesn't work? It does. sigh
