Well, my first day back at school was today. Here's my schedule:
- Health - Williams
- Spanish II - Online Course
- English III - Dillard
- Trig/Pre-Cal (Half courses) - Davis
- US History - Miller
- Web Design - Online Course
- Basketball - Swart
Oh what changes have been made. You may notice that we have no "lunch period". We now have lunch with our 5th period class (US History - Miller) which is a change for me because I'm used to being free 5th period to be able to take a breather before the end of the day. Now, we can't do that.
Another change that I haven't fully gotten used to yet is the inability to park next to the football field. I have always been able to park there because: 1) I film the games so they've let me park there and 2) there was an announcement last year that only athletes could park there which really affirmed my right to be there because I am an athlete. Now only football players can park there. I'm not the only one who have been affected. Some of the softball players parked there because it is so close to the softball field and now they can't. Because of it, I have to get up extra early in the morning so that I can park directly in front of the gym; that way I won't block anyone in once basketball season gets in full swing. :angry:
Here's a list of a few of the minor changes. Lunch has gone up from $1.75 to $2.00. Got rid of the technology discovery room in favor of having all three English teachers in the same room. They've divided it up though. So that way instead of hearing the other teachers screaming at their kids, we only hear their muffled yells. 
I think that this is enough ranting for right now. I might be back though so don't get too comfortable.
