The Eighteenth Sonnet

Parody by J. Roeland
Derived from Shakespeare

Compare and contrast
A Summer's day and her? How?
They're nothing alike!

Summer: hot, humid,
Bright, rain, flowers, hurricanes.
Comes and dies each year.

My girl: Mature, Cool,
Beautiful, loving, constant
Vibrant, colorful

Death cannot touch her
She'll never fade, living on
in the Reader's mind
